Bloomin' Tuesday! 09/02/08 (after all!)

I'm joining MsGreen "thumb" Jean for Bloomin' Tuesday!
Come join in or see others!

I thought I wasn't going to be able to share today because my camera wouldn't upload! But, finally, it did. I took these yesterday before the rains came. I don't have much bloomin right now my stuff is more foliage (I really like foliage). You might have to look close to see the blooms in some of these.) Today I am enjoying a 'front - door - wide - open' drizzly overcast very much cooler day! My doggies are tucked in the doghouse outside, safe and dry. My kitties are lounging inside with the 'extra' girls I babysit. Ahhhh. I hate that we need tropical storms for our summer rains, but we are very thankful for THIS part of the storm! So, please during this hurricane season, take care, and keep those in the dangerous part of the path in your prayers! Happy Tuesday! Happy September! Happy Rain!
(all pictures are clickable for a closer look-did you see the kitten?;)

You lucky duck; we didn't even get a drop of rain!
Your angel's trumpets are out of sight; those babies are just climbing right up onto the porch, how cute is that! I am still trying to get mine established. Next year they should be as showy as yours. Enjoy the rain...

You have some great plants. Yes, I agree, there is a silver lining to every cloud. I went out today to see what got broken or bent and everything looks all lush and green. I am happy for the rain and while our power was out, the rainbands did help keep us cool. But I am happy to see the signs of Gustuv gone today and the Sun just broke through again. All is well. : )

These look beautiful! I planted a new mum yesterday, orange, to go just a few feet away from the purple one we planted last year. With how fast the last one grows, I expect them to be nearly touching in a year or two. I also planted 2 grapevines!

Glad the kitties are staying dry! Mine are foolish enough to run out into the rain sometimes, but they don't stay long.

Such lush green plants- I love those flowering ones too!

I have a nephew that just moved with his family to the panhandle of FL and I kept a good eye on the weather channel all weekend! They got just brushed by it, but did have a tornado touch down close by!

You keep safe and dry this season, too!
Hugs,
~Tammy
