BIG NEWS!

We bought the back 40!
08/08
Well actually we bought the back 50x100' (5000 sq :) lot behind us!
08/08
Well actually, we just put our down payment on it-so it is ours to payoff.

Currently our back yard is 5'deep running the length of our single wide moblie home. Not really big enough, all its good for now is a dog run.
We have plans to fence it in, split it in half for hubby's trailers and such and the dogs, the other half being patio and food garden. I'm very excited!
Ahhh, dream a little dream with me!!!!

Lucky you, I see visions of garden dancing in your head!
Hey, is that pokeweed by the back door? I have that same thing that came up as a volunteer, and, of course, I just let it grow. It has beautiful purplish-dark pink berries on it; my neighbor saw it and laughed "what are you doing with pokeweed in the flower bed?" So noew I am trying to identify it to be sure what it is...

How exciting for you! Congratulations! I can totally see you converting that land into a garden paradise. I can't wait to see what projects you will be taking on and what garden beauties you will be sharing with us soon.

(I'm off topic, but I couldn't find an email address for you) Thanks, Carla, for the compliment you posted on my blog; I love the denim, too. We are not formal people, and things get used, and worn, and dirty in my world, and the denim slipcover is a breeze to launder! You know, I'm the caregiver for my 91 year old Dad, so I can't get out and shop much; I found the couch online at Rooms 2 Go. I was searching for leather, since I figured it would wipe clean, but I came across this one, and I was sold.

How wonderful for you! I can imagine all the plans you have now. We have a nice backyard, but with a huge BigDumbDog (aka Sampson our Malamute) it is good for nothing but a compost pile and dog poo.

Thanks for your kind comments during my rough time yesterday!

Oh what exciting news. I just love land and yard. I would have big plans.
I always have big plans/dreams! Someday. I have the land now I am just waiting on the provision to do fun things.
I hope next year to have morning glories. I finally have a fence around my little house with a gate. It isn't a pretty picket fence but a fence! Sounds silly doesn't it.
I know about dreamin' a little dream! We are actually workin' on fencing again over the weekend to seperate some sections! Never ending.
BTW thanks for coming by and seeing me.
Smiles,
Sherry
