Show & Tell AND My Husband Rocks!: #2

Once upon a time there was a girl.
She had three sweet babies.
She met a guy.
He had three sweet babies.
They fell in love.
Together they added one more sweet baby.
This girl wanted a table big enough for the all the sweet babies to sit and eat when they were together.
She found the perfect table-
It was huge!
And perfect.
Years passed, sweet babies became sweet grow'd ups.
The girl and the guy moved into a smaller house.
The girl wanted a small table that could open to a big table for when the sweet grow'd ups and their babies came to visit.
She told the guy.
She was on the look out for an round table that would open to a large oval
-possibly a gate leg.
She was on the look out for cheap
-but well made pre-loved.
She didn't need chairs.
She had the special chairs the guy inherited when his mother passed away years before.
She wasn't in a hurry.
No rush.
Then he decided to surprise her.
For her birthday he bought her a table.
A table and four chairs.
A beautiful round table that opens to a large oval.
A VERY expensive table.
MORE than he SHOULD've spent.
But she is glad he did.
She now looks at the table and smiles.
A gift from him,
From his heart,
To hers...

Birthday table from DH 07/08
Now where is she going to put those inherited SIX chairs???

What a GREAT table. I'd love a huge table...but I'd have to have a huge kitchen to go wit it.

I tagged you on my blog!

Happy Saturday. :-)

I'll take the chairs!! I need 6-LOL. That's so very interesting that our grandmother and great-granmother's had the same name. I love it, and hope that one of my girls, when they have children, name one of theirs, Lillian Grace. Have a a great weekend. Julie

Hehe, I have the same dining room set --- and the chair in the background of your picture --- from our former dining room set! LOL! I keep the spare chairs in the bedrooms --- they work nicely for sitting a spell to visit with kids and hubby.
