If Your Happy and You Know It...

If your happy and you know it clap your hands...

"Happiness is not about having what you want, its about wanting what you have"

If your happy and you know it clap your hands...

"The pursuit of happiness is a most ridiculous phrase;
If you pursue happiness, you'll never find it."

If your happy and you know it...

"Don't let the sadness of your past, and the fear of the future, ruin the happiness of your present."

Then your face will surely show it...

"Today is better than yesterday!"

If your happy and you know it...

"The Happiest people don't have it all, they just make the best with what they've got!"

CLAP YOUR HANDS!

A free gift from above"

"Will you live or merely exist?"

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out....." ----Gordon B. Hinkley
(taken from Lisa Lou at Is that a garage door on my ceiling?)

You know the saying "if mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy"? Well for the sake of peace in my home (where my people hang their hearts), mama is going to try, really try, to be happy, and make this place a safe, happy home!!! (send me some prayers? ;)

Me taking time to appreciate makes me happy, AND makes my house run better, AND helps others have a safe place to fall.

I love this first quote!
"Happiness is not about having what you want, its about wanting what you have"
I would love it written on my living room wall or down my hallway.
When I take time to enjoy what I have, my world is truly a MORE peaceful place!

Yes-sometimes I think we need to take the time to appreciate what God has blessed us with. Instead of constantly dwelling on what we want but can't have. What we have could be a whole lot worse.

What an uplifting post, Carla! I think I shall have that quote put in my living room, somewhere, too! I know my kids could use it! See you soon!

One of our favorite songs at our house! I'm happy that my husband came through surgery fine, unfortunately the anesthesia didn't set well with him.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Our last sacrament meeting's theme was happiness. We all must need the reminder that we were sent here to be happy and have joy!! Loved your quotes. Have a happy, happy day!! Julie

Hi Carla,

Great blog!
I'm the happiest person I know! I think it's mainly because I live in gratitude - so the quote about wanting what you have resonates with me. Keep up the great work - we need to spread our happiness around.

What a good reminder to be joyful! We have really been struggling with some things here at BrightHaven and I have been so sad about them. I never considered my not being at peace could affect my home. Silly, I know. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
