Son-Day: "Just A Closer Walk With Thee"

Just A Closer Walk With Thee
Words: Unknown author
(traditional folk song)

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

We should all strive for just a closer walk with Him!

My lesson in Kids Church was on Jesus the Bread of Life, we had a little peanut butter and jelly. LOL

Have a great Monday filled with blessings!!!

Carla, I am several days late and trying to catch up on my visiting.

This is one of my favorite songs, thanks for sharing with me.

Happy Tuesday.
