Memorial Day Thanks

Received as an email:

It is the VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN,

not the campus organizer,

who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN,

not the lawyer,

who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN,

not the politician,

who has given us the right to vote.

It is the VETERAN who salutes the Flag,

It is the VETERAN who serves under the Flag,

ETERNAL

REST GRANT THEM O LORD,
AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON

THEM.

God Please Bless America

My deepest thanks and appreciation to all who have, or are serving to keep me safe. God Bless You for blessing my family, and myself.

Beautiful tribute!

I also LOVE the "I Surrender" from Littrell. ONe of my favorite songs from my childhood, too! It was a standard in our Nazarene Hymnal.

Thank you so very much for sharing. Love your Blog!

Beautiful tribute Carla!!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday for a visit, and yes, I did post photos of our little yard project this morning.

Enjoy the TX sunshine. Seems [at least around my area] that's all we're getting. Yesterday, record heat. We need rain. LOL
