I love the day lily. Our neighbot brought us over a cut tiger lily with 3 flowers opened and 2 buds. The 2 buds have now opened. They are so pretty. I MUST plant me some lilies this fall.

Talk about recycling... How great is that to get a squash plant out of your compost?! Beautiful daylilies. Love the colors this week!

Your blooms are gorgeous! My orange day lilies are budding and I can't wait!! Isn't it wonderful to discover a plant that you hadn't planned?:) That yellow (squash) does sing--"Sunshine!"
First bloom is interesting, let us know what it is. Your Daylilies are pretty too.
I love daylilys; I just never have luck with them. I suspect my soil is too heavy and poor, but I'm trying them one more time this year, so wish me luck!

Pretty blooms. It does look like a squash bloom.
Your Day lilies are so pretty. I love the color of both of them.
Daylilies already?! Both colors are beautiful. You may end up with a mixed up squash. What fun! Still no Mr L! Jean
Your blooms are pretty! What a surprise on the squash☺
Beautiful blossoms. We love daylilies. Your purple-y one is beautiful. The season is just beginning here. We have Bitsy, Black Eyed Stella, Moonlight Masquerade, and Stella D'ora blooming right now. ~~Rhonda :)
Your green thumb is making me turn green...with envy.
What is your secret???
Beautiful flowers! I do think that is a squash/zucchini flower :)
Beautiful Carla! I wish my thumb was a little greener. :-)
