First bloom on my two year old plant.

    aw, i miss our flowers already. it's been so cold here that everything is pretty much dead. i'm quite jealous of the blooms you seem to still have.

    I was telling someone that ginger blooms with an amazing scent. The blossom is so pretty. Orchid like.

    How beautiful! I got my first ginger this year, and I've fallen in love with it; mine is Hidden Lily Ginger. Is your Butterfly Ginger hardy? I'm not taking any chances on mine, it's going into the garage for winter vacation.
