My new MAN!

I decided I needed a new spark in my life.

Someone good looking.

Someone young.

Someone reliable.

Someone flexible.

Someone who makes me look good.

Someone who really knows how to give me what I want!!!

MR. CROCK POT!!
Mr. Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 Crock Pot to be exact.

(above photo taken from web)
When the kids were home we had two HUGE crock pots.
Now, soon, its going to just be us two.
I need a smaller crock pot.
BUT sometimes there will be lots to feed.
AND making extra to freeze is something I'm interested in.
I don't have a lot of extra storage space here.
So, when I heard of this 3 in 1 (2qt, 4qt, 6qt) I was sold!
I know I can count on Hamilton Beach, and this was no more expensive than a regular 6qt.
So far it has proven a good buy.
Three sizes of crock pots in one space.
Easy to use, clean and store.
I'm in love!!! (and so are the people eating the yummy food I fix:)
I am haunting all the wonderful crock pot blogs that so graciously share their recipes.
Here is my handsome new fella with the remaining Sunday chili, and my mom's cornbread.

Because my plate of next day leftovers was so pretty with the crumbled cornbread,
I had to take another picture!

Need something new and exciting in your life????
Or just need to rekindle an old relationship?
Mr. Crock Pot-HE'S THE MAN!!!

Oh yea, when hubby doesn't feel threatened when you bring a new special someone home?
AND he even helps with your new relationship (by making the chili), that's a solid marriage!! (not to mention HE paid for it:) My hubby rocks!

I have to go talk to hubby--Honey.....

  7. Great post today! I loved how you introduced it! I am one with my Crock Pot as well and I like the idea of a 3-1! Just this week I made my White Chicken Chili for dinner. Crock pots are great on those days when I am going 90 MPH!

Last week I shared about my Grandma's trunk, the "before restoration" photos. I got it back and I have posted its transformation on today's S&T.

  10. What a great product! My big, oval crockpot is just right for stuffing an eight-pound chicken in, but it's really big for some other recipes I make in it. I'm glad to have it, though!

  11. I'm still using the same old crock pot I got when I got married 26-1/2 years ago!! I don't remember the brand but I sure wish it had different sizes like yours. The only thing I use mine for is barbecue though. If you try any new great recipes I hope you post them since I'd love to learn how to make more! I know how to make roast in it but we prefer my Magnalite in the oven to the crock pot. Enjoy!

  12. How cute...this post put a huge smile on my face!!!

I think I'll have to check out this new crock-pot. Right now, I have 2 different size crock-pots hogging space in my cabinet...and bringing a new fella into the house...could be a GOOD thing...a VERY GOOD THING!!!

Thanks for the visit and prayers.

  14. What a great idea; how come we didn't think of that? Bet it was designed by a woman!
My thoughts turned to chili and cornbread, too. It always does when the weather turns cool. I started a kitchen recipe blog, so I posted about it at ALAMO NORTH today.
I'm getting some coarse ground beef for chili tonight, too!
